Growth

At the Pileus Group, it is our business to help and grow profitable private companies in Central Texas. The focus is on smaller companies with an established family and/or professional management. More so, we are supporters of firms that create and offer products and services with a purpose – someplace where a change in ownership is less likely to adversely affect future growth potential for known products.

Transition

Private companies often face succession issues, growth plateaus, the need for further capital, a deadlock in decision making or rifts in the goals of founders or partners. Many founders do not want to see years of effort pushed to the side. They do, however, seek personal liquidity. We can assist in structuring change of ownership to accomplish these goals in harmony with one another.

Since private company succession is often difficult, with emotional and practical financial concerns, it is important to have a helper aware of all of the influences in a transition. We can advise and help manage this process for owners, whether a decision leads to a change in professional management or a choice between internal candidates. In addition to having worked with a wide range of specific experts that could be needed, Pileus can also bring interim management until a permanent arrangement can be made.
